Pyllis ACKER, 64, wife of Tracy GLENDENNING, of Model Ave., Bathurst, and formerly of Tabusintac, passed away on Sunday [December 12, 2010] at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a period of illness. She was the daughter of Susan (BLAKE) ACKER and the late James ACKER. She was a Civil Servant with the Government of Canada until her retirement. She was involved with the Public Service Alliance of Canada Womens Committee Regional Executive. <br /> <br /> Besides her husband, of Bathurst; and her mother, of Tabusintac, she is survived by one daughter, Terri TRIBE (Kevin), of Shilo, Man.; one brother, Kimbal ACKER, of Tabusintac, NB; one sister, Susan ACKER, of Toronto, Ont; two grandsons: Cody and Zachary; several nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (December 16, 2010) at 2 pm from St. Georges Roman Catholic Church in Covedell. Donations may be made to the local SPCA.
