Yvonne Kathleen (CHAMBERS) TOZER, wife of Lindsay TOZER of Sunny Corner, NB, passed away at Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the age of 90. Born in Halcomb, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Addie CHAMBERS. Yvonne attended the Little Southwest Baptist Church and worked at J.D. Creaghan’s Department Store in the former Town of Newcastle for many years.<br /> <br /> Yvonne is survived by one son, Lindsay TOZER (Ceporah) of Newcastle, NB; three grandchildren, Aaron TOZER (Tracey) of Quispamsis, NB, Jody TOZER and Lindsay TOZER both of Newcastle, NB; four great-grandchildren: Drew, Eliot, Benjamin and William TOZER.<br /> <br /> Visitation was held at the Little Southwest Baptist Church, Sillikers, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm where the Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 2 pm with Pastor Raymond Pitcher officiating. Music was by pianist Susan Travis; Congregational hymns were: Sweet By and By, Amazing Grace and When We All Get to Heaven. Words of Remembrance were given by Drew TOZER. <br /> <br /> Active Pallbearers were: Aaron TOZER, Jody TOZER, Lindsay TOZER, Frank TOZER, Tennyson TOZER and Bob TOZER. <br /> <br /> Burial followed in Lyttleton Baptist Cemetery, Back Road, NB. Donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Meadows Funeral Home, 150 Northwest Rd., Sunny Corner, NB.
