Gerard LANDRY, age 66, of Baie Ste. Anne, passed away Thursday, Dec. 08, 1994 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham. Born in Point Sapin, he was the son of the late Albanie and Annie (GOGUEN) LANDRY. He was a fisherman.<br /> <br /> He is survived by one adopted son, Clarence MANUEL; three brothers, Clifford of Point Sapin, Wilfred of St. Louis de Kent and Patrick of Richibucto Cape; two sisters, Irene FONTAIN of Point Sapin and Mrs. Arthur VAUTOUR (Lena) of St. Louis de Kent; and a number of nieces and nephews.<br /> <br /> The remains rested at the slumber room in Baie Ste. Anne. Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church Monday, Dec. 12th at 4 pm with Rev. Robert Savoie officiating, assisted by Rev. Arcade LeBlanc and Rev. Donnie Belliveau. Baie Ste. Anne Knights of Columbus formed an Honour Guard.<br /> <br /> Active pallbearers were: Clarence MANUEL, Rheal GRAY, Omer DOIRON, Romeo LANDRY, Blair VAUTOUR and Allain LANDRY. Honorary pallbearers were: Aubin POIRIER, Euclide MIOUSSE, Ade SAVOIE, Bernard GALLANT, Michael DOIRON, Daniel VIGNEAULT and Rheal TURBIDE.<br /> <br /> Interment was in Baie Ste. Anne church cemetery. Arrangements were under the care of Maher’s Funeral Home Chatham.<br /> <br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - December 20, 1994
