The death of David Edward JENKINS, age 75, occurred in Lancaster DVA Hospital on Sunday following a lengthy illness. Born at Hardwicke, he was a son of the late George and Lucy (THIBODEAU) JENKINS. A veteran of both World Wars, he was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Chatham Branch No. 3.<br /> <br /> He is survived by one son, Gerald of Toronto; four daughters: Mrs. Gerald LLOYD (Bernetta) of Hardwicke, Mrs. Sterling FORAN (Ramona) of Lyttleton, Mrs. Emanuel POULO (Patricia) of Toronto and Mrs. Donald FRASER (Carmel) of Oromocto; four brothers: Ernest, Raymond and Jack all of Hardwicke, and Patrick of Alberta; five sisters: Mrs. Clifford MacDONALD of Hardwicke, Mrs. Rupert CLANCY and Mrs. Janet DAIGLE, both of Chatham, Mrs. Maxime DOUCET of Manual’s Post Office, and Mrs. France MARTIN of Loggieville.<br /> <br /> The body will be brought to Hardwicke for the funeral service at a time and date to be announced.<br /> <br /> Source: Moncton Daily Times - November 03, 1969
