Richard Joseph CARROLL, of Baie Ste Anne, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the age of 64, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Baie Ste Anne, Richard was the son of the late James and Nathalie (ROBICHAUD) CARROLL. Richard was a truck driver by profession, and was employed by Keltic Transportation for the past 13 years. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed playing cards.<br /> <br /> Richard is survived by his wife, Catherine (MANUEL) CARROLL; daughter, Stacy; son, Ryan (Ashley) of Baie Ste Anne; two grandchildren, Evan and Eric. Richard is also survived by his sisters: Karen MARTIN (Arthur) of Hardwicke, Rosemay MANUEL (Hilaire) of Baie Ste Anne, and Louise O’NEIL of Orleans, Ontario; brothers: Elmer CARROLL (Donna) of Baie Ste Anne, Edward CARROLL (Maria) of Napan, Thomas CARROLL (Rejeanne) of Edmonton, Alberta, Bernard CARROLL and Michael JIMMO OF Ottawa, Ontario; sister-in-law, Jean CARROLL of Ottawa, Ontario; brother-in-law, Ade MARTIN of Miramichi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews<br /> <br /> Besides his parents and grandson, Jaxon; Richard was predeceased by his brother, James CARROLL Jr; sisters, Beatrice CARROLL, Michaelina JIMMO, Margaret (JIMMO) MARTIN; and brother-in-law, Melvin O’NEIL.<br /> <br /> Visitation will take place, Sunday, November 24th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Baie Ste Anne Slumberoom. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 25th at 3:30 pm from Saint Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste Anne, NB, with Father Joseph officiating.<br /> <br /> Honorary pallbearers were: Eddie CARROLL, Thomas CARROLL, Hilaire MANUEL, Arthur MARTIN and Elmer CARROLL.<br /> <br /> Donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
