Susie (Susan) Ann ACKER (BLAKE) passed away on October 30, 2020. Born on February 28, 1926, she was the last surviving child of the late Jack and Sadie (GRATTAN) BLAKE. Over the years, Mom was an active member of the community and was a member of many groups and organizations. She served many years with the Ladies Auxiliary and had very fond memories of her trips with the ladies. She was an active member of her church choir. All can cherish fond memories of Mom, be them laughter, dancing, telling stories or playing cards. She was quick with her wit and could remember everyone’s birthday and how old they were. She was our family historian and recalled many an old story from past generations. She will be missed by family and friends.<br /> <br /> She is survived by her son, Kimbal of Tabusintac; her daughter, Susan of Tottenham; daughters-in-law, Shirley and Genevieve; son-in-law, Tracey; seven grandchildren: Michael, Corinna, Terri, Steven, Jason, Melissa and Alan; 13 great-grandchildren, two gr-gr-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.<br /> <br /> She was predeceased by her parents, two children, Donnie and Phyllis; five siblings: Warman, Emma, Evelyn, Alfred and Theresa.<br /> <br /> Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be a celebration of Life once all the family can be together. <br /> www.salonrobichaud.com <br /> <br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - November 04, 2020
