Gerald Joseph McINTYRE, age 71, of Baie Sainte Anne, NB, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Baie Sainte Anne, NB, was the son of the late James and Yvonne (THEBEAULT) McINTYRE. Gerald was a diamond driller by trade, and he was loyal to his job and co-workers.<br /> <br /> He is survived by his common-law wife, Anne SIPPLEY of Baie Sainte Anne; daughter, Murielle McINTYRE-NORRIS; son, Jimmie McINTYRE (Cindy); grandchildren, Justin NORRIS and Sasha Lane McINTYRE; by his sisters: Eldora McINTYRE (Eugene) of Madeline Island, Diane MANUEL (Eldore), Doris SCHOFIELD (Jean-Marc), and Audrey MANUEL, all of Baie Sainte Anne; one brother, Aurele McINTYRE (friend Rosalind) of Baie Sainte Anne; and several nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> He is predeceased by sister, Majella McINTYRE and brother-in-law Gerald B. McINTYRE.<br /> <br /> At his request there will be no visitation at the slumberoom. Memorial Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 4 pm from St Anne Roman Catholic Church Baie Sainte Anne with Fr. Mario Doyle officiating. Picture bearer, Janet, Flower bearer, Kaitlyn, and Urn Bearer Jimmy. Hymns were by St. Anne Choir. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Maher’s Funeral Home Miramichi, N.B.
