Emilie MARTIN of Baie Sainte Anne passed away on Sunday, May 07, 2017, after a brave battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late David MARTIN and the late Elouise SIPPLEY of Baie Sainte Anne, NB.<br /> <br /> She leaves behind her husband Clement MARTIN; two sons, Jean-Marie MARTIN (Allysha) and Jean-Clement MARTIN; two brothers, Roger MARTIN of Baie Sainte Anne and Jerry MARTIN (Brenda) of Halifax; four sisters: Lucille CORBET of Halifax, Geraldine MALLAIS of Brantville, Claudette DAIGLE (Andre) of Baie Sainte Anne and Adeline MARTIN of Baie Sainte Anne; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces and many friends. <br /> <br /> Emilé was predeceased by her first husband, Jean Marie ROBICHAUD; and sister, Marie Louise MacLAUGHLIN of Fredericton. <br /> <br /> Emilie MARTIN rested at the Baie Sainte Anne Slumberoom in Baie Sainte Anne on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 2 pm until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 4 pm, from St Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Sainte Anne, with Fr. Gilbert Levesque officiating. <br /> <br /> Pallbearers were: Lucien THIBODEAU, Justin THERIAULT, Jason MARTIN, Luc THEBEAU, Rene ROBICHAUD, and Gerard THIBEAULT. Honorary pallbearers were: Monique DAIGLE, Zella MARTIN, Charlene MARTIN, Diane MARTIN, Anne-Marie SAVOIE and Rolande DOUCET. <br /> <br /> Funeral arrangements were under the care of Maher's Funeral Home 35 University Ave Miramichi, NB.
