Brenda MARTIN, age 55, from Baie Sainte Anne, NB, surrounded by her family, Brenda passed away on September 01, 2016, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Brenda is the daughter of Albertine MARTIN and the late Maurice MARTIN, of Baie Sainte Anne. Brenda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a kind gentle soul with a generous heart who always gave to others. She leaves many loving memories to be cherished by all her family and friends. She leaves many loving memories to be cherished by all her family and friends.<br /> <br /> Besides her mother, Brenda will be greatly missed by her husband, Alonzo MARTIN, daughter, Justine Marina MARTIN (Marcel); grandson, Nick DURELLE; sisters, Jocelyne MARTIN (Jean-Marc) and Paula MARTIN (Denis); brothers, Albert MARTIN (Rosalie) and Jean-Marc MARTIN (Janice); many nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> She is predeceased by her brother, Arsene MARTIN (Maureen).<br /> <br /> Brenda MARTIN rested at the Baie Sainte Anne Slumberoom in Baie Sainte Anne, on Saturday, September 03, 2016, from 7 to 9 pm, Sunday, September 04, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Monday, September 05, 2016, from 2 pm until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, September 05, 2016, at 4 pm, from St Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Sainte Anne with Fr. Mario Doyle officiating. <br /> <br /> Active pallbearers were: Gaston MARTIN, Mike MARTIN, Marcel DURELLE, Sylain MARTIN, Jonathan GUIMOND, and Zoel MARTIN. <br /> <br /> Funeral arrangements are under the care of Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi, NB.
