Anita MARTIN, age 79, of Baie St. Anne, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional 7 Hospital on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Born in Baie St. Anne, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Alice (MAZEROLLE) MARTIN. <br /> <br /> She is survived by sister, Rosemae MARTIN; brothers, Utrope MARTIN, Cyril MARTIN and Leo MARTIN; nephews: Phillippe (Willa) CARROLL, Edmond (Sharon), Leo (Wanda), Bernard (Ginette), Alonzo (Victoria), Joey(Kelly), Jean-Paul, Francis, Paul-Emile (Joan), Aquila (Lisa), Jeffery (Natasha) and Ronald; nieces: Phoebe (Scott) Antoinette (Adrien), Yvette (Gilles), Carmeline (John) and Carmella; by several great-nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> Predeceased by sisters, Yvonne MARTIN and Alderrick MARTIN; by nephew, Daniel (Ginette)<br /> <br /> Anita MARTIN rested at the Baie Sainte Anne Slumberoom in Baie Sainte Anne, on Monday, May 15, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 2 pm until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at 4 pm, from St Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Sainte Anne, with Fr. Mario Doyle officiating. <br /> <br /> Pallbearers were: Jeffery CARROLL, Aquila CARROLL, Bruce CARROLL, Rodrique CARROLL, Gilles THEBEAU and Brandon MELVIN. <br /> <br /> Funeral arrangements are under the care of Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi, NB.
