The death of A. Alma [SOBEY] COLPITTS, 92, a native of Canada, and former resident of Maple Glen, NB, occurred Sunday, Feb. 13, 1994, in Clark House at Fox Hill, Westwood, California. Born in Maple Glen, she had livde in Needham for 64 years before moving to Westwood three years ago. She was educated at the Provincial Normal School, Fredericton and taught school in NB and Maine, USA.<br /> She leaves her husband, Weldon T. COLPITTS; daughter, Merna J. STANLEY, of Needham; a son, Robert W.D., of Cupertino, Calif; brothers: Colson, Eldon and Roy SOBEY, all of NB; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.<br /> A memorial service was held Sat., Feb. 19, at 2 pm in the Congregational Church of Needham, 1154 Great Plain Ave., Needham. A private burial in the Needham Cemetery will be held. Funeral arrangements in care of Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., Nedham. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc. or to the Congregational Church.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - March 9, 1994
