Yvonne DOUCETTE, age 97, of Baie Sainte-Anne, NB, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home in Miramichi, NB. Born in Baie Sainte-Anne, she is the daughter of the late Alphonse Sr. and Gertrude (MANUEL) TURBIDE.<br /> <br /> Yvonne is survived by her children: Alphonse DOUCETTE (Rose-May), Everett (Evé) DOUCETTE (Rolande), Zella MARTIN (Lucien), Albain DOUCETTE (Colette), Francine SCHOFIELD (Gilles), Vernon DOUCET (Rosa), Julien DOUCETTE, Bernard DOUCETTE (Blanche), all of Baie Sainte-Anne, Thomas DOUCETTE (Chantal) of Moncton and Marita GIROUX (Omer) of Charlo; daughters-in-law, Darlene DOUCETTE of Baie Sainte-Anne and Aline DOUCETTE of Miramichi; thirty-seven grandchildren, fifty-two great-grandchildren, eleven gr-gr-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters: Arsene TURBIDE (Phyllis), Simonne MORAIS (Nazaire), Alphonse TURBIDE Jr. (Monette), Rhéal TURBIDE (Annette), all of Baie Sainte-Anne, Alphonsine MAZEROLLE (late Irené) of Richibucto, Ludger TURBIDE (Edmonde) of Moncton; many nieces and nephews.<br /> <br /> She is predeceased by her husband, Jack DOUCETTE Sr.; daughter, Mathilda ROBICHAUD (late Albert); sons, John (Jack) DOUCETTE and Maxime DOUCETTE; brothers and sisters: Almeda SAVOIE (late David), Norman TURBIDE (late Aurélie), Donat TURBIDE (late Geneviève), Albain TURBIDE (late Carmella), Virgine SAVOIE (late Aldolphe), Lorine TURBIDE, Julia DAIGLE (late Alyre) and Virginie TURBIDE.<br /> <br /> Yvonne DOUCETTE rested at Salon Soeur Blondine Martin in Baie Sainte-Anne on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, Friday, June 21, 2019, from 3 pm until the time of the funeral. Funeral mass was celebrated at 5 pm on Friday, June 21, 2019, at Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Sainte-Anne, with Celebrant, Rev Gilbert Levesque, Con Celebrant, Rev Robert Savoie. Cross Bearer was, Josie DOUCETTE, Flower Bearer was, Nadine LeBLANC, Readers were Ella DAIGLE and Celeste SAVOIE, Intercessions by, Flavie MANUEL, Somer DOUCET, Manon DOUCETTE, Cindy MANDERVILLE and Liette COLLIER. Hymns were: Quand j’ai frappé, Je voudrais être madelinot, Amazing Grace, Alléluia, Une Voix, Saint, Et toi O’ Sainte Anne, Une Colombe by Chorale de Clé de sol. To the River, by soloist, Colette DOUCETTE. <br /> <br /> Honorary pallbearers were: Mathieu DOUCET, Paul ROBICHAUD, Guy ROBICHAUD, Jean-Paul DOUCET, Donald DOUCET, Denis DOUCET, Simon DOUCET, Pierre DOUCET, Bruno DOUCET, Samuel DOUCET, Jean SCHOFIELD, Luc GIROUX and Aurel GIROUX.
