Emile DAIGLE Sr., age 79, of Baie Ste-Anne, passed away at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham, on Saturday, February 03, 1996. Born in Pointe Sapin, he was the son of the late Pierre and Seraphie (MAILLET) DAIGLE. A fisherman and a carpenter, he attended Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Eloide (MANUEL) DAIGLE; eight sons: Alvin, Vincent, Rodrique, Cyrille Bertrand, Emile Jr. , all of Baie Ste-Anne, Flavine of Loggieville and Hilarie of Napan; four daughters: Mrs. Leopold BABINEAU (Cecilia) of Scoudouc, Mrs. Norbert MARTIN (Leola) of Baie Ste-Anne, Mrs. Norman O’NEIL (Claudette) of Loggieville and Mrs. Eric GAUDET (Julienne) of Pointe Sapin; three brothers, Alyre and Eric, both of Baie Ste-Anne and Edmond of Fredericton; seven sisters: Mrs. Elizabeth MANUEL, Mrs. Marghuerit DURELLE, and Mrs. Theresa DAIGLE, all of Baie Ste-Anne, Mrs. Bertha WILSON, Mrs. Delima ARSENAULT of Moncton, Mrs. Beatrice RICHARD of Rexton and Mrs. Emilda MANUEL of Villa Marie Home of St. Louis; 26 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Alcide and Nazaire; also a sister, Marrione.
Resting at Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, with visiting hours on Monday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Baie Ste-Anne RC Church, on Tuesday, February 06, 1996, at 4 pm. Interment will be in the Church cemetery.
