Mr. Egbert ALLAIN passed away at Tabusintac Nursing Home, Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at the age of 88. He was husband of the late Laetitia BREAU. Formerly lived in Neguac, he was born on July 24, 1929. He was the son of the late Olivier ALLAIN and the late Anna ROBICHAUD.
He is survived by one daughter, Lucie; five sons: Pierre (Yvette), Marcel (Oveline), Edouard (Sylvie), Paul and Maurice (Anne); nine grandchildren: Daniel, Eric, Johanne, Rick, Roxanne, Berthier, Kathia, Lisa-Anne and Douglas; eight great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Jasper, William, Kayla, Mia, Patrick, Chloe and Brady; three sisters and one brother: Gloria (Georges VAUTOUR), Emma (Edouard BREAU), Yvonne (late Edgar LeBLANC) and Rheal (wife Ida SAVOIE); as well as his companion, Betty TRENHOLM, many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Predeceased by his grandchild, Remi; one sister, Cecile; two brothers, Hector and Georges.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 20th, at the Robichaud Funeral Home & Sons, 50 Otho Street, Neguac. The funeral will be held at St. Bernard Church in Neguac on Thursday, December 21st, at 2 pm. Visiting hours: Wednesday, December 20th, from 7 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, December 21st, from noon to 1:45 pm.
