The death of Mrs. Abigail ALEXANDER occurred at her home on Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock after a short illness.<br /> <br /> She was 79 years of age and leaves to mourn her loss, four daughters: Mrs. Robert GOULD of Boston, Mrs. Norman ANDERSON of Newcastle, Mrs. Charles SPURR of Douglastown and Miss Laura WOOD at home; three sons, James, Stuart and Heardman, all of Douglastown; two sisters, Mrs. WEATHERBIE of California and Mrs. WILCOX of Waltham, Mass.<br /> <br /> Source: Chatham Gazette - November 18, 1921<br /> *************************************************** <br /> FUNERAL - <br /> <br /> The funeral of the late Mrs. Abigail ALEXANDER was held on Sunday at 2 o’clock from her home in Douglastown. Service at the house and grave was conducted by Rev. Alexander Firth and the hymns sung were: Jesus, Lover of My Soul and The Sands of Time are Sinking.<br /> <br /> The pallbearers were: Alexander CAMPBELL, Alexander JESSAMINE, J.
