Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at age 75. Partner of Helen OWENS. Father of Tim (Tracy), Ron (Debby), Rob (Lynda), Jeff (Janis); step-father of Sandra (Nicola) and Jennifer (Martin); grandfather of Joshua, Jodi, Allyson, Emma, Annie, Jillian, Roger, Christy, Kali, Sophie and Hugo.<br /> <br /> He was the son of the late Robert and Edna (GALLANT) AHERN; brother of Clara, Nancy, Irene, Lina, Brian, Ronnie, John and Mike. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.<br /> <br /> He was predeceased by siblings, Warren, Edna and John Louis.<br /> <br /> Friends and family are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodfoffe Avenue (at Byron) on Sunday, January 3rd from 2-5 pm. A memorial service will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 367 Avenue Martineau, Otter Lake, QC, J0X 2P0, on Monday, Jan. 4th at 11 am. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.<br /> <br /> Source: Funeral Home Online
