Mrs. Helen M. ADAMS of Strathadam, died Monday, February 27, 1989 at Miramichi Hospital, Newcastle, after a short illness. Born in Boom Road 68 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret (MATCHETT) TAYLOR. She was a member of St. Phillip’s United Church, Whitneyville, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Sunny Corner Branch 90, Royal Canadian Legion. She was a past of member of the UCW. <br /> <br /> She is survived by her husband, Walter ADAMS; three daughters, Mrs. Ernest MILLS (Jean) and Mrs. Joyce JOHNSTON, both of Strathadam and Mrs. Paul LYNCH (Marjorie) of Nelson-Miramichi; a son, Arnold of Blackville; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy HARRIS of Halcomb; seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - March 08, 1989
