Donna Marie (JOUDRY) ADAMS, wife of Fred ADAMS of Miramichi, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Wednesday, December 05, 2018 at the age of 51. Born in Chatham, on July 23, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Sarah (SAVOY) JOUDRY. She was a caregiver for many different people and worked at Sykes Call Center, Miramichi. She loved to volunteer and lend a helping hand to everyone. She was a Christian by faith.
She is survived by her husband, Fred ADAMS; two daughters, Mary-May ADAMS of Miramichi and Deanna RICHARDSON of Fredericton; one step-son: Joey ADAMS (Marie-France) of St. Stephen; seven grandchildren: Benjamin, Brock, Jaxon, Colby, Madison, Autumn and Jean-Luc; one sister, Norma RICHARDSON (Charlie) of Miramichi; one brother, Leonard JOUDRY (Jean) of Miramichi; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; four sisters and three brothers.
Visitation was held from Adam’s Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service was held from St. Andrew’s United Church, Miramichi, on Friday, December 07, 2018 at 1pm, with Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating. Music for the service was provided by Mrs. Joanne Wiseman and St. Andrew’s Choir and the hymn was: In The Garden and the recessional hymn was: Here I Am, Lord. A special song: Heaven’s Garden, was played. A reading, Footprints in the Sand, was read by Kelly RUSSELL and Nancy McLEAN and a poem, Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep, was read by Garyth McLEAN.
Honorary pallbearers were: Armand COMEAU, Charlie RICHARDSON, Carl RICHARDSON, James CABLE, Tommy GALLAN and Bill GALLAN. Pallbearers were: Roger MERCURE, Brenden RUSSELL, Charles CABLE, Justin RUSSELL, Gary McLEAN, Margaret CABLE, Dale STEWART, William HUTCHINSON and Garyth McLEAN.
Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery later in the spring. Donations to Caring Friends Activity Center or Autism Resources Miramichi would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Adam’s Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, telephone 773-3492 or www.adamsfh.ca
