Auley ADAMS, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon ADAMS of Black River Bridge, was killed in a highway accident at Bay du Vin, Saturday about 9:15 pm when the bicycle he was riding swerved in the path of an oncoming vehicle operated by Joseph Harold Manuel of Hardwicke. ADAMS was going to the home of Gordon McDonald of Auburnville, where he was employed. He was a member of the ADAMS family whose home and belongings were destroyed by fire April 15th. RCMP investigated the accident and coroner John Dupuis ruled an inquest unnecessary.<br /> <br /> Surviving are the youth’s parents, seven sisters and six brothers.<br /> <br /> Burial was in St., John the Evangelist Anglican Church Cemetery, Bay du Vin.<br /> <br /> Source: North Shore Leader - May 02, 1968<br />
