The death occurred at Little Branch, Black River on Friday night of Alfred (Alva L.) ADAMS, son of George ADAMS as a result of an attack of pneumonia and his comparatively early demise is very deeply regretted by a large circle of friends and acquaintances who extend their sincere sympathy to his family and relatives.
Mr. ADAMS is survived by his wife; and a family of young children as well as by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock from his late residence and services will be conducted by Rev. J. F. McCurdy. Interment will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.

FUNERAL -
The funeral of the late Alva L. (Alfred) ADAMS, Little Branch who died Friday last, was held on Monday afternoon from the residence of his father, George ADAMS and was very largely attended, wide-spread sympathy being evoked at the passing of this fine young man at the early age of 27 years, leaving his wife and two young children, besides his parents, brothers and sisters, to mourn their loss.
Rev. William Stewart pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Chatham and Newcastle, conducted the Solemn Service of death and burial at the home and at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Black River where interment took place.
Deep sympathy is extended by the whole community to the bereaved family and relatives.
