THOS. YOUNG DIED IN WEST<br /> <br /> Sad Intelligence Reached His Mother here on Monday.<br /> <br /> The sad intelligence reached Mrs. Walter YOUNG, Monday afternoon by letter, of the death of her son Thomas in Winnipeg on Wednesday of last week. Mr. YOUNG left Chatham on February 8th of this year and was attacked by typhoid some weeks ago. Pneumonia set in and he succumbed to the double attack on Wednesday. The funeral was held Friday afternoon.<br /> <br /> The late Mr. YOUNG was 45 years old and is survived by his wife and one son, James, with whom he and his wife were living in Winnipeg. Besides his mother and family the late Mr. YOUNG is survived by three brothers, James and Charlie, here, Fred in Maine and two sisters, Mrs. James RYAN of Chatham and Mrs. LASKEY of Fredericton.<br /> <br /> Very much sympathy will be felt for Mr. YOUNG’S mother and family in their sad affliction.<br /> <br /> Source: Chatham Gazette - June 21, 1911<br />
