Rita Theresa WRIGLEY, widow of the late Cornelius WRIGLEY, of Water St., Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday morning, January 01, 2015, at the age of 89. Born in Douglastown, on September 11, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ellen (DRISCOLL) KEOUGHAN. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi; a member of the C.W.L., as well as a former Brownie Leader.<br /> <br /> She is survived by one daughter, Linda CAMPBELL, of Miramichi; one sister, Agnes LYNCH, of Miramichi; three grandchildren, Donna, Cindy, James; four great-grandchildren: Sara, Morgan, Samatha, Owen; three great-great-grandchildren, Lyrik, Ryah and Braylee. <br /> <br /> She was predeceased by her husband, Cornelius; one son, Edward; twelve siblings.<br /> <br /> Visitation was at Adam’s Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Sunday. Funeral Mass was held from Adam’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 05, 2015, at 11 am, conducted by Father John Fraser. Music for the service was provided by Scott McDermott, who offered the hymns: Peace Is Flowing Like A River and Amazing Grace. The scriptures were read by Owen ROY and Scott McDEMOTT and the Prayers of the Faithful were led by Owen ROY.<br /> <br /> The pallbearers were: James CRIPPS, Mike TURPLE, Owen ROY, Samatha RICHARD, Morgan McDERMOTT and Sara McDERMOTT. <br /> <br /> Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, later in the spring.
