The death of Robert Alexander YOUNG III, of Burnt Church, occurred Friday, January 22, 1999 at Miramichi Regional Hospital after a brief illness. He was 74. Bob YOUNG was born in Orange, New Jersey, USA. He spent most of his working life in the insurance industry and served in the US Army in WW II. He retired to Burnt Church in 1977. <br /> <br /> He was married to Patricia HAGUE ANDERSON, who predeceased him; as did a brother, Ronald.<br /> <br /> He is survived by two nephews, Stanford Thomas YOUNG, of Palo Alto, California and Ronald J. YOUNG, of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania; a niece, Elizabeth YOUNG KANIA, of Haverford, Penn.; and two cousins, Leland STANFORD, of New Jersey and Vernon STANFORD, of Florida.<br /> <br /> Cremation took place and a memorial service was held at Davidson’s Funeral Home at 2 pm on Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999. Interment will be in Burnt Church Union Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Davidson’s Funeral Service Ltd. was in care of arrangements.
