Janet (Jenny) Agnes WYSE, of Kelly's Special Care Home, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 07, 2013, at the age of 92. Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Blanche (UNDERHILL) JARDINE. She worked as a hairdresser for over 35 years and was a member of St. James and St. John United Church.<br /> <br /> She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Gertrude (Robert POTTS), of Florida, USA, Elaine (Pierson TAYLOR), of Quarryville, and Karen (Warren CREAMER), of Derby Junction; her sister, Ardith FORREST, of Miramichi; four grandchildren: Stephanie CASSIDY (Daryl), Jolene WARTMAN (Kevin), Garth CREAMER (Pam) and Scott CREAMER (Libby); six great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.<br /> <br /> Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Delbert WYSE; four brothers: Max, John, Percy and Sydney; her sister, Murial; and her grandson, Troy TAYLOR.<br /> <br /> At the family's request, there was no visitation. The funeral service took place on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Frasier officiating. Organist, Mary Matheson, led the congregation in the singing of the hymns: Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art. Soloist, Mike Davis, also sang: Go Rest High on the Mountain and On Eagles Wings. A eulogy was given by Jenny’s great-grandson, Kyle CREAMER; and a reading was done by her granddaughter, Jolene MUTCH WARTMAN. A poem: She is Gone, was read by her niece, Sherri TRAVIS. Interment took place following the service in the Miramichi Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation.
