Yvonne Margaret Alice STURGEON, wife of the late Cletus STURGEON of Double H Special Care Home, formerly of Sweeney Lane, Miramichi, passed away Friday February 14, 2020 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 87. Born in Nelson Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (PETERS) HUBBARD. She was a home maker, a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, past member of the Church Choir and a member of Miramichi Coral Society.<br /> <br /> She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda MacDONALD- COUGHLAN (Donald) of Smiths Crossing and Elan LESLIE (Robert) of Stratford PEI; four sons: Keith (Donna) of Derby, Kevin (Donna) of Renous, Brendon (Jennifer) of Miramichi and Dwane (Daria) of Miramichi; ten grandchildren: Andrew, Corey, Tara, Kayla, Bryce, Lauren, Shea, Courtney, Kelsey and Brian.<br /> <br /> Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four sisters: Audrey, Monica, Beaulah and Velna; eight brothers: David, Gerald, Burton, Carl, Reginald, Norman, Sterling and Kenneth.<br /> <br /> Yvonne Margaret Alice STURGEON is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Tuesday February 18th from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday February 19, 2020 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, with Father Antonio Reyes officiating. Burial will be in the family plot of the church cemetery later in the spring. Donations to Miramichi Regional Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
