The death of Katherine M. AMOS, wife of Theodore AMOS, of Carrolls Crossing, occurred recently at the age of 80 years. Born at Carrolls Crossing, she was a daughter of the late Sarah and Jerry LYONS. She was an active member of the United Baptist Church, the Canadian Red Cross and the Womens Auxiliary.<br /> Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Ernest STILLWELL [Irma], of Fredericton, Mrs. Carol SPENCER [Gertrude], of Boisetown, and Mrs. Paul LYONS [Vivian], of Doaktown; three sons: Robert, of Fredericton, Shirley, of Carrolls Crossing, and Cleveland, of Moncton; one brother, Murdock LYONS, of Carrolls Crossing; two sisters: Mrs. Merritt AMOS and Mrs. Howard ODONNELL, both of Marysville; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.<br /> The funeral was held in the Carrolls Crossing United Baptist Church with Rev. A.S. Carpenter officiating<br /> Pallbearers were: George, Tennyson, Percy, Calvin and Cyril AMOS, and Gerald ODONNELL.<br /> Interment was in the church cemetery.<br /> Source: North Shore Leader - June 7, 1973
