Eleonore SAVOIE, 72, of Baie Sainte Anne, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Villa Maria Nursing Home in Saint Louis de Kent. Born in Baie Sainte Anne, NB, the daughter of the late Edouard and Imelda MARTIN.<br /> <br /> She is survived by her loving husband, Alderic SAVOIE JR.; her loving children: Allain SAVOIE (Peggy SAVOY), Marcia MAZEROLLE (Ovil MAZEROLLE), Carl SAVOIE (Wendy MacDONALD), Anselme SAVOIE (Theresa SAVOIE); her grandchildren: Allain BARRIEAU (Jody BARRIEAU), Evan SAVOIE, Jeremie MAZEROLLE, Christian MAZEROLLE, Remi SAVOIE, Colin SAVOIE, Nadia SAVOIE, and Sophie SAVOIE; great-grandson, Aaden BARRIEAU; also survived by her sisters and brothers: Valerie MARTIN (Bonita MARTIN), Edouard MARTIN (Charline MARTIN), Martina RICHARD (Ernest RICHARD), Rejeanne MARTIN (Zoel MARTIN), Ledwin THERIAULT (Jules THERIAULT), Francine BLAKELY; and several nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> Eleonore SAVOIE is predeceased by her parents, Edouard and Imelda MARTIN; and by Rudolphe MARTIN, Jean–Paul MARTIN, Zoel MARTIN, Odette McINTYRE. <br /> <br /> Eleonore SAVOIE rested at the Baie Sainte Anne Slumberoom in Baie Sainte Anne on Wednesday, January 04, 2017 from 2 until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, January 04, 2017 at 4 pm from St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Sainte Anne with Fr Mario Doyle officiating. Donations may be made to the memorial of one’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Miramichi, NB.
