Baie Sainte-Anne: - At the Miramichi Hospital, on Friday, November 20, 2009, surrounded by her family, at the age of 84, peacefully passed away, Adelia LIRETTE [nee MARTIN], wife of late Edgar LIRETTE. She was the daughter of late Alec MARTIN and late Marguerite CHIASSON.
She will be missed by her children: Abel [Edna], Emilien [Jacqueline], Francois [Jacqueline], Charles [Marcella], Florentine, Marielle, Andrea [Fernand DAIGLEe], Gilberte, Bertha [Antoine SIPPLEY], Rose [Wilbert MARTIN], Elda [Mark WILLISTON] and Rachel [Tony McINTYRE], all from Baie Sainte-Anne. She was loved by her 21 grandchildren: Diane, Chantal, Sylvie, Colette, Carole, Dominique, Emma, Kevin, Terry, Denis, Paulette, Sophie, Annette, Candy, Eugene, Parrish, Amanda, Scott, Alicia, Jean-Denis, Maxie; and she loved her 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Albertine MARTIN, Evilda McINTYRE, both from Baie Sainte-Anne, and Lodia WATLING, from Miramichi, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one son, Jean-Marie; two sisters, Elizabeth, Anna; and five brothers: Prudent, Edward, Armand, Augustin and Joseph.
She was living at home with the good care of her family and a person with a lot of faith. The family is now receiving relatives and friends at the Baie St-Anne Slumber Room. The funeral service will be held at the St-Anne RC church in Baie St-Anne, Monday, November 23rd, at 4pm. Visiting hours: Monday from 2pm until the departure for the funeral.
