Mrs. Nathalie Barbara CARROLL, 89, of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, formerly of Escuminac, passed away at Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday, February 04, 2013. Born in Pointe Sapin, NB, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Martha [MAZEROLLE] ROBICHAUD. She was a member of Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church where she worked as a caretaker for over 35 years. She was also a fish plant worker. She loved to play bingo and socialize with her friends, playing cards, and had a wonderful sense of humour, was loved by everyone who met her and family was everything to her. She loved her home by the water.<br /> She is survived by two daughters, Karen MARTIN [Arthur], of Hardwicke, Rosemay MANUEL [Hilaire], of Baie Ste Anne; five sons: Michael JIMMO, of Ottawa, Elmer CARROLL [Donna], of Baie Ste Anne, Edward CARROLL [Maria], of Napan, Richard CARROLL [Catherine], of Baie Ste Anne, and Thomas CARROLL [Rejeanne], of Edmonton, Alta.; one step-son, Bernard CARROLL, of Ottawa; and two step-daughters, Louise ONEILL, of Orleans, and Beatrice CARROLL, of Moncton; and a daughter-in-law, Jean CARROLL, of Ottawa; and son-in-law, Ade MARTIN, of Escuminac; sisters:Eva COMEAU, Antoinette FONTAINE, Andrea DAIGLE, and Theresa MAZEROLLE, all of St. Louis; twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.<br /> She is predeceased by her first husband, Wilfred JIMMO; and second husband, James P. CARROLL; daughters; Michaelina and Margaret JIMMO; and step-son, James P. CARROLL Jr.; sisters, Clementine JIMMO, Mary LEWIS, and Charlotte DARVEAU; brothers: Urbain, Aurele, Yvon, Ovilla, Alverie, Daniel and Livain ROBICHAUD.<br /> Nathalie CARROLL rested at the Salon Soeur Blandine-Martin in Baie Sainte Anne on Wednesday, February 06, 2013 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday at 3:30 PM from St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste-Anne with Fr. Mercier officiating. <br /> Active pallbearers were: Rory MARTIN, Jeffrey MARTIN, Patrick CARROLL, Adam MANUEL, Jamie MARTIN and Dustin CARROLL. <br /> Donations to the Diabetic Association, NB Heart & Stroke Foundation.
