Samuel SIPPLEY, 95, of Baie Ste-Anne, passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 1999 at the Foyer Assomption Home, Rogersville. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bienne [MARTIN] SIPPLEY. He was a fisherman.<br /> He is survived by his wife, Eleonore MARTIN; four sons: Philias [wife Arsie], of Montreal, Francis [wife, Emerilda], Zoel [wife, Mary Anne], and Louis [wife Anne], of Baie Ste-Anne; one daughter, Albertine [Mrs. Albin MARTIN], of Fredericton, NB; and two sisters: Mary MARTIN and Florida DOYLE, of Baie Ste-Anne; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.<br /> The remains rested at the church slumber room. Mass of Christian burial was held at the Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church, on Friday, Sept. 17, at 4 p.m. with Father R. LeBlanc officiating.<br /> Active pallbearers were: Gerry DUPLESSIS, Mark DUPLESSIS, Francis SIPPLEY Jr., Quentin, Yves and Larry SIPPLEY.<br /> Interment was in the church cemetery.
