Antoine Joseph SIPPLEY, 86, of Riviere du Portage Baie Ste-Anne, NB passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, NB the son of the late Reuben and Melina [MARTIN] SIPPLEY. Antoine was a Korean War Veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #3. Retired fisherman by trade. <br /> He is survived by three daughters, Christina LITTLE, of Douglastown, Eliane SIPPLEY [Roland], of Escuminac, Delila SIPPLEY [Halldis], of Bay Du Vin; two sons, Antoine SIPPLEY Jr. [Bertha] and Jean-Claude SIPPLEY [Candace], both of Baie Ste-Anne; stepsons, Arthur SIPPLEY [Leone], Elphege SIPPLEY [Loretta], of Baie Ste-Anne; stepdaughters, Valma SEELEY, of Douglastown, Karen SIPPLEY [Claudette], of Baie Ste-Anne; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; one brother, Alderic SIPPLEY, of Baie Ste-Anne; and one sister, Leola MacDONALD, of Moncton. <br /> Antoine is predeceased by his wife, Marguerite SIPPLEY [THEBEAU]; two sisters, Patricia KINGSTON and Leronza MARTIN; and one brother, Edwin SIPPLEY.<br /> Antoine SIPPLEY rested at the Baie Ste-Anne slumber room on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 and on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 2pm till time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 4pm from St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste-Anne with Fr. Mario Doyle officiating. <br /> Active pallbearers were; Randy WILLISTON, Alain VAUTOUR, Lomand MARTIN, Ralph MacDONALD, Troy SIPPLEY and Gilles DAIGLE. <br /> The Baie Ste-Anne Fire Department formed a Guard of Honor. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #3 held a Veteran Services following the Funeral Mass.
