Sylvio V. SAVOIE, of Baie Ste. Anne, died Sunday, September 22, 1985 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham after a lengthy illness. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 68 years ago, he was a son of the late Alfred and Marie [MANUEL] SAVOIE. He was a fish buyer by trade.
He is survived by his wife, the former Alma JIMMO; three sons, Sylvio Jr., Wayne and Kevin, all of Baie Ste. Anne; two daughters, Brenda, of Chatham, and Mrs. David COOL [Corrine], of Sarnia, ON; three brothers, Livia and Alderic, both of Baie Ste. Anne, and Alfred, of Chatham; a sister, Mrs. Allen GIBBS [Jessie], of Moncton; 27 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body rested at the slumber room of Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church where a funeral mass was celebrated Tuesday, September 24. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Arrangements were in the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.

FUNERAL -
Funeral mass for Sylvio V. SAVOIE, of Baie Ste. Anne, was celebrated on Tuesday, September 24 from the Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Alphonse Richard officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were: Ethime MANUEL, Irvin DURELLE, Leandre SAVOIE, Armond SAVOIE, Dode DEALY and Israel DURELLE. Active pallbearers were: Patrick SAVOIE, Michael GIBBS, Guy SAVOIE, James JIMMO, Eymard SAVOIE and Paul SAVOIE.
Burial followed in the church cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.
