Wilfred H. A. MacPHERSON, husband of Elizabeth STOREY MacPHERSON, of 22 Christopher Court, Saint John, and formerly of Moncton and Chatham, died Wednesday, June 1, 1988 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Montreal, he was a son of the late William and Honora [HUNT] MacPHERSON. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was a golf professional in Truro, NS Moncton, Westfield and the Miramichi from 1948-76.<br /> Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Colin Ross, of Nepean, ON; one daughter, Mrs. David MacPHERSON [Linda Elizabeth], of Edmonton, AB; three brothers, Francis and George, both of St. Bruno, Que., and John, of Candiac, Que.; one sister, Mrs. Claude GAUDET [Agnes], of St. Lambert, Que.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. <br /> He was predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Thomas YOUNG [Mary] and Kathleen MacPHERSON.<br /> The body rested at Brennans Funeral Home, Saint John where funeral service was held Monday morning, June 6th. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - June 08, 1988
