Mrs. Evelyn McINTYRE of Baie Ste. Anne died Wednesday, June 20, 1990 on arrival at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 69 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Dominque and Hilda [CYR] THERIAULT. <br /> Her husband, Sammy, died previously.<br /> She is survived by four sons: Charles, Jean-Paul and Elphege, all of Baie Ste. Anne, and Hector, of Montreal; eight daughters: Mrs. Edmond MANUEL [Flora], Leola and Mrs. Jacques LABRIE [Gertrude], all of Montreal, Mrs. Rheal TURBIDE [Annette] and Mrs. Paul LANDRY [Pauline], both of Baie Ste. Anne, Mrs. Robert GOULET [Gloria], of St. Louis de Kent, Gilberte, of Moncton, and Mrs. Jacques AYLWAIN [Carole], of Germany; four brothers: Alderic and Jean-Paul, both of Baie Ste. Anne, Placide, of Verdun, Que., and Lomers, of Windsor, Ont.; two sisters, Mrs. Aubine POIRIER [Yvonne] and Mrs. Rheal POIRIER [Noella], both of Baie Ste. Anne; 23 grandchildren and a great grandchild.<br /> Funeral mass was celebrated Saturday, June 23 at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Alphonse Richard officiating. The Golden Age Club Senior Citizens Club formed a guard of honor.<br /> Active pallbearers were: Daniel MANUEL, Michael MANUEL, Martial MANUEL, Jimmy KENNY, Sylvain McINTYRE and Guy TURBIDE. Honorary pallbearers were: Rheal TURBIDE, Jacques AYLWAIN, Jacques LaBRIE, Edmond MANUEL, Paul LANDRY, Andre MANUEL, Ranced POIRIER, Aubine POIRIER and Rheal POIRIER.<br /> Burial was in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in case of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - June 27, 1990
