Adeston MARTIN Sr., of Baie Ste. Anne, died Friday, August 12, 1988 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 66 years ago, he was a son of the late Joseph and Madeline [ROBICHAUD] MARTIN. He was a retired employee of the Baie Ste. Anne Co-op.<br /> Twice married, he is survived by his second wife, Ednee MARTIN; four sons: Roger and Adeston Jr., of Toronto, Marcel, of Baie Ste. Anne, and Maurice, of St. Louis de Kent; three daughters, Mrs. Gerry COLES [Danne], of Toronto, Mrs. Paul OSBOURNE [Rosella] and Mrs. Ted DEKKERS [Shirley], of Enfield, N.S.; three brothers, Nazaire, Angus and Adelard, of Baie Ste. Anne; one sister, Mrs. Elodie MARTIN, Baie Ste. Anne; and 11 grandchildren.<br /> The body rested at the Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass was celebrated Sunday afternoon, August 14, with Rev. Alphonse Richard officiating.<br /> The pallbearers were: Keith, Marc, Antoine, and Felix MARTIN Jr., Ted DEKKERS and Paul OSBOURNE.<br /> Burial was in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - August 17, 1988
