Aquila ALLAIN, of Rogersville, died Wednesday, January 11, 1989 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham.<br /> Born in St. Antoine 82 years ago, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Octave ALLAIN. He had been an auto body repairman before retirement and attended St. Francois de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Rogersville.<br /> <br /> He is survived by his wife, the former Anida GOGUEN; a son, Edouard, of Newfoundland; a sister, Yvonne, of New York; and several nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> A sister, Ida; and four brothers: Arthur, Amedee, Joseph and Alphonse, died previously.<br /> <br /> The body rested at the Slumber Room, Rogersville. Funeral mass was celebrated Saturday morning at St. Francois de Sales Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Bells Funeral Home, Newcastle.<br /> <br /> Source: Northumberland News - January 18, 1989
