A very sad death occurred Saturday morning when John AHEARN, son of Mrs. Neil AHEARN, passed away after a brief illness, aged 39 years. Mr. AHEARN had always enjoyed the most rugged of health and his sudden demise was a great shock to his relatives and friends.
He was not married and leaves besides his widowed mother, four brothers: Peter, in Ontario, Paul and William, in town, and James, of Saint John; and four sisters: Mrs. Joseph PYNE, of this town, Mrs. William McDONALD, of Loggieville, Mrs. Robert DINAN, of Douglastown, and Mrs. Philip OBRIEN, of Boston.
The funeral was held at ten oclock this morning.
