Mrs. Stella K. ADAMS, widow of Ward J. ADAMS, of Centre Napan, and formerly of Bayside, died Sunday, April 6, 1986 at Hotel Dieu Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Bayside 77 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Donald S. and Christina (MacDONALD) WILLISTON. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin. <br /> Her husband died in 1974.<br /> <br /> She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd GILLISS (Rita), of Centre Napan; a sister, Mrs. Clyde WILLISTON (Lorna), of Bayside; a brother, John Albert WILLISTON, of Moncton; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.<br /> <br /> The body rested at Adams Funeral Home, Chatham where funeral service was held Wednesday, April 9th with Rev. Renford MacKenzie officiating. The organist was Agnes Fowlie and the hymns were: Abide With Me and What a Friend We Have in Jesus.<br /> <br /> Pallbearers were: Bernard OLSEN, Arthur ADAMS, Dwayne, Lynne, Morris and Clinton GILLISS.<br /> Interment will be in the Black River Cemetery at a later date.<br /> <br /> Source: Northumberland News - April 16, 1986
