The death of Mrs. Mary ABBOTT, widow of Lemuel H. ABBOTT, occurred at the home of Mrs. Charles NEILSON, Chatham Head, on Saturday morning. She was the last surviving member of the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. William MacLEAN, and had resided in Chatham for great number of years. Had she lived until March 1st, she would have reached her 95th birthday.<br /> <br /> Surviving is one son, Ernest, of Truro, N.S.<br /> <br /> The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.P. Heckbert, Chatham. <br /> Remains were placed in the cemetery vault.<br /> <br /> Source: North Shore Leader - February 27, 1948 <br /> **************************************************** <br /> Mrs. Lemuel H.
