Edward William ADAMS, husband of Theresa ADAMS, of Heritage Road, Miramichi, passed away at his residence, on Monday, November 26, 2007, at the age of 60. Born in Chatham, he was the son of Walter and Ida (SIPPLEY) ADAMS. He was a painter by trade and a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Theresa M. COMEAU; his parents, Walter and Ida ADAMS, of Black River Bridge; two daughters: Karen STEWART (Alan), of Miramichi, and Lisa WOODS (Davis), of Moncton; one son, John E. ADAMS (Alyssa), of Miramichi; two sisters: Lois MAAHS, of Michigan, USA, and Marina CARROLL, of Black River Bridge; five brothers: Burns ADAMS, Percy ADAMS (Theresa), all of Black River Bridge, Carl ADAMS (Judy), Fred ADAMS (Donna), all of Miramichi, Jerry ADAMS (Karen), of Saint John; three grandchildren; Shelby, Nathan and Calleigh; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visiting was held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening. The funeral service was held from the FH Chapel on Thursday, November 29, 2007, at 10 am, conducted by Fr. John Fraser. The organist was William Sweezey; hymns: Make Me a Channel of Your Peace, Be Not Afraid and Amazing Grace. The readings were offered by David WOOD and Mary Lynn JARDINE and the prayers were led by Mary Lynn JARDINE.
The pallbearers were: David WOOD, Edgar DUGUAY, Alan STEWART, Wayne KINSELLA, Robert JARDINE, Raymond McKNIGHT.
Interment was in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Adam's Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, Telephone 773-3492 www.adamsfh.ca
