Normand TURBIDE, 78, of Baie Ste-Anne, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at the New Infirmary Site, Halifax. He was the husband of Mrs. Aurelie RICHARD, and the son of the late Alphonse TURBIDE and the late Gertrude MANUEL.<br /> He is survived by four daughters: Azilda [Antonio McINTYRE], of Baie Ste-Anne, Normande [Meldric MANUEL], of Baie Ste-Anne, Gloria [Andree COLLETTE], of Bouctouche, Flore [Rodrigue STEWART], of Richibucto; two sons: Flavien [Joan HARPER], of Miramichi, Wilmond [Murielle DURELLE], of Baie Ste-Anne; five sisters: Yvonne [Jack DOUCETTE], Juliette [Alyre DAIGLE], Simonne [Nazaire MORAIS], Laurina, all of Baie Ste-Anne, Alphonsine [Irenee MAZEROLLE], of Richibucto; four brothers: Arsene [Phyllis GIBBS], Alphonse [Monette THERIAULT], Rheal [Annette McINTYRE], all of Baie Ste-Anne, Ludger [Edmonde RICHARD], of Moncton, NB; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.<br /> The remains of Mr. TURBIDE rested at the mortuary room of Baie Ste-Anne. The funeral was held Saturday, June 19, at 2 p.m. in St-Anne Roman Catholic Church, of Baie Ste-Anne. Burial followed in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care of LaColombe Funeral Home of Tracadie Sheila.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - June 22, 1999
