Ms. Mary Ellen ALLISON, of Red Bank, NB, passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 1997, at Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, at the age of 92. Born in Boom Road, NB, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Gertrude (MATCHETT) ALLISON. She was a member of St. Stephen's United Church, Red Bank, and a former member of LOBA.<br /> <br /> She is survived by her daughter, Mickey TREPANIER (Deny), of Red Bank; one sister, Gertrude JOHNSTON, of Belleville, ON; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.<br /> <br /> She is predeceased by one son, Donald; two sisters, Kirk and Cora; two brothers, John and Ben.<br /> <br /> The remains rested at Davidson's Funeral Home, Miramichi, NB. The funeral service was held Sunday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. from the FH Chapel with Rev. Lori Jacobson officiating. Congregational hymn was: The Lord Is My Shepherd. Soloist, Jimmy Lawlor, sang: Amazing Grace. The Ellis sang: The Old Rugged Cross. Donations to Miramichi Senior Citizens Home would be appreciated. <br /> <br /> Active pallbearers were: Todd TREPANIER, Trent TREPANIER, Eugene ALLISON, Sterling ALLISON, Neil SMITH, and Ernie WHITNEY.<br /> <br /> Interment followed in the St. Stephens United Church Cemetery.
