Mrs. Blanche G. WORRELL, widow of the late J. Campbell WORRELL, passed away at her residence at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home on Thursday, July 11, 1996 at the age of 92. Born in Church River, Northumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret [STEWART] ENGLAND. She was a homemaker, a life member of St. Andrews United Church, Chatham as well as a member of the U.C.W.<br /> She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Richard WILSON [Annabella], of New Jersey, U.S.A., Mrs. James DIXON [Phyllis], of St. Stephen, and Mrs. Herbert TREVORS [Deanne], of Douglasfield; two sons, Robert, of Chatham, and S.C. [Bun], of Newcastle; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.<br /> She was predeceased by her husband, J. Campbell WORRELL in 1974; one sister, Mrs. Mamie PAUL; and one grandson, Peter TREVORS.<br /> The remains rested at Adams Funeral Home [Chatham] Ltd., from where the funeral service was held on Saturday, July 13, at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Harley Clowater. The organist was William Sweezey, and the hymns were: When The roll Is Called Up Yonder, What A Friend We Have In Jesus and The Lords My Shepherd.<br /> The pallbearers were: Erik TREVORS, Shawn TREVORS, Linton WORRALL, Dale WORRELL, Bob GAMMON and Marven MOORE.<br /> Interment was in Riverside Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Adams Funeral Home [Chatham] Ltd.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - July 16, 1996
