Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; Passed in Hinton, Alberta, Canada<br /> Dicks sudden passing occurred on December 06, 2011, in Hinton, AB. Dick was a truck driver who loved his profession. He loved to drive anything with wheels and a motor, and especially loved to 4-wheel, jet ski and drive the back roads. <br /> He will be missed by his wife, Darlene HAWKES, of Moncton, NB; son, Jacob [Lisa]; and granddaughter, Jaylah, of Edmonton, AB; and sister, Henrietta [Junior] HUBBARD; nieces, Tracy and Amy, of Sunny Corner, NB. He will be remembered as a good friend to many, for his sense of humor, and for always enjoying a good laugh. <br /> Dick was predeceased by his father, Cyril [Mac], 1984; and mother, Emma, in 2005.<br /> As per Dicks wishes, no memorial service will be held and his final resting place will be on the Little Berlin River, AB. Arrangements in care of Mountain Rose Funeral Home, Hinton, AB [www.mountainrose.ca].
