The death of Katherine L. ALLISON, of Whitney, NB, occurred at her residence on Tuesday at the age of 85. Born in Sunny Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Nellie [MULLIN] MATCHETT, and wife of the late Ernest ALLISON. <br /> Survived by two daughters: Marilyn SUTHERLAND [Robert], of Whitney, and Anna HARE [Winston], of Miramichi, NB; three sons: Hubert ALLISON [Linda] of Whitby, ON, Daryl ALLISON [Catherine], and Beverly ALLISON [Gloria], all of Whitney; one sister, Carmel MATTHEWS [Glen], of Boom Road, NB; two brothers: Emery MATCHETT, Sinclair MATCHETT [Althea], all of Sunny Corner; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. <br /> She was predeceased by her parents; husband; two sisters: Mollie MATCHETT and Josie MacTAVISH; and one brother, Omer MATCHETT. <br /> Visitation at Bells Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday. Funeral service will be held today at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Peter Culberson and Pastor Wilbur Matthews officiating. Interment at the Whitney Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
