Jessie Irene ALLISON, 91, Boom Road, passed away at Miramichi Hospital, Newcastle Wed., May 11, 1994. Born in Boom Road, she was a daughter of the late John and Ambersine (TOZER) JARDINE. She was a homemaker, and attended the Whitney Baptist Church.<br /> <br /> She is survived by 4 sons: Morris, of Whitney, Blair, of Boom Road, Glen, of ON, and Claude, of Boom Road; two daughters: Mrs. John SUTHERLAND (Pearl), of Boom Road and Mrs. Clifford MAGGS (Glenna), of Sunny Corner; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.<br /> <br /> She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Stewart ALLISON; sister, Annie; and one daughter, Mona.<br /> <br /> The remains rested at Bells Funeral Home, Newcastle. Funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on May 13 at 2 pm. <br /> <br /> Active pallbearers were: Stacey ALLISON, Sterling FORAN, Sterling ALLISON, Hubert SHERRARD, Clayton ALLISON and Doug MATCHETT. Honorary pallbearers: Jarvis BRYENTON, Derell ALLISON, Don LEACH, Glen MATTHEWS, Pat GAUDET, Dan HUBBARD, Wes HARE and Wendell ALLISON.<br /> <br /> Source: local newspaper clipping [courtesy the collection of Dianne Mullin]
