James David ALLISON, 83, a resident of St. Josephs Heritage and formerly of 173 Strathcona Avenue, passed away unexpectedly in McKellar Hospital, Sunday, April 10, 1994. Born in Whitneyville, he was the son of the late William ALLISON and Annie SHERRARD. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces during WW II. He was retired from Abitibi Price.
He is survived by his daughter, Ruth ALEXANDER [husband Fred]; five sons: Robert, James Jr. [Wendy], Bert [Pam], all of Thunder Bay, Bruce [Nancy], of Oakville, and Kim [Cheryl], of Winnipeg; eight grandchildren; one sister, Edith DUNNETT, of Newcastle; two brothers: Ernest, of Newcastle, and Welock, of Thunder Bay.
He was predeceased by his wife, Imelda; six brothers and one sister.
Funeral service and burial were in Thunder Bay, ON.
