The death of Mrs. Isabella Marvel ALLISON, wife of Stillman M. ALLISON, of Boom Road, occurred unexpectedly on Sunday, March 10th at the Miramichi Hospital. Born in Sunny Corner 72 years ago, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie [MATCHETT] FORSYTHE. She was a member of St. Stephens Presbyterian Church, Sunny Corner, a life member of the Womens Missionary Society and a member of the Presbyterian Boom Road Ladies Aid.
Surviving is her husband; four sons: Harvey, of Moncton, Derell, Wendell and Wayne, of Boom Road; one brother, Benson FORSYTHE, of Boom Road; and six grandchildren.
The body rested at Bells Funeral Home, Newcastle, until Tuesday at eleven oclock when the remains were taken to St. Stephens Presbyterian Church in Sunny Corner for service at two oclock conducted by Reverend Douglas Codling. Mrs. Ena Johnson was the organist. The hymn sung was: The Lord Is My Shepherd; a solo: Come With Your Heartaches, was sung by Harry Young.
Pallbearers were: Robert BRANDER, Gerald OSHEA, Ernie WHITNEY, Bervel FORSYTHE, Winston FORSYTHE and Sterling ALLISON.
The remains were place in the receiving vault in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Boom Road to await interment in the spring.

The death of Mrs. Isabell ALLISON, wife of Stillman M. ALLISON, of Boom Road, occurred Sunday at Miramichi Hospital. She was 72. Born at Sunny Corner, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Annie [MATCHETT] FORSYTHE.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons: Harvey, of Moncton, Daryl, Wendell and Wayne ALLISON, all of Boom Road; one brother, Benson FORSYTHE, of Boom Road; and by six grandchildren.
The body rested at Bells Funeral Home, Newcastle. The funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon, March 12 at 2 p.m. at St. Stephens Presbyterian Church, Sunny Corner, conducted by Rev. Douglas Codling. Mrs. Donald Johnston was organist; hymn rendered was: 23rd Psalm; Harry Young sang: Come With Your Heartaches.
Active pallbearers were: Berval FORSYTHE, Robert BRANDER, Winston FORSYTHE, Ernest WHITNEY, Gerald OSHEA and Sterling ALLISON.
Entombment was in the Presbyterian Cemetery vault Boom Road to await burial in the spring.
