Roger THIBODEAU, 86, of Baie Ste. Anne, passed away Oct. 28, 1996, at Foyer Assomption, Rogersville. Born in Baie Ste. Anne, he was the son of the late Eutrope and Hariotte [MANUEL] THIBODEAU. He was a fisherman.<br /> He is survived by two brothers, Theotim, of Montreal, P.Q.; Lionel, of Baie Ste. Anne; one sister, Matilda MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne.<br /> He is predeceased by his wife, Laurie DESPRES; two brothers, Wilfred and Alexander; and three sisters, Margaret MARTIN, Clementine HACHEY, and Orena BLANCHARD.<br /> The remains rested at the church slumber room, Baie Ste. Anne. Mass of Christian burial was held Wednesday, with Rev. Jean Guy Dallard officiating.<br /> Active pallbearers were: Omer ARSENEAULT, Vince THIBODEAU, Nicholas DOUCET, Jean Marc MANUEL, Sandy MARTIN, and Gordon KING.<br /> Interment took place in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the care of Maher`s Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - November 5, 1996
