Leon THIBEAULT, of Baie Ste. Anne, died Tuesday, April 7, 1987 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham after a lengthy illness. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 53 years ago, he was a son of the late Alfred and Mary Grace [MARTIN] THIBEAULT. He was a fisherman.<br /> He is survived by two brothers, Aubin, of Toronto, and Conrad, of Baie Ste. Anne; five sisters: Mrs. Beatrice MacINTYRE and Mrs. Margaret SIPPLEY, both of Baie Ste. Anne, Mrs. John McLELLAN [Irene], of Ottawa, Mrs. Fidele GOGUEN [Lorence], of Chatham Head, and Mrs. Lucien HACHEY [Vitaline], of Nelson-Miramichi.<br /> The body rested at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass was celebrated Thursday afternoon, April 9 with Rev. Alphonse Richard officiating.<br /> Pallbearers were: Jean Marc THEBEAULT, Anthony SIPPLEY Jr., Daniel McINTYRE, Elthege SIPPLEY, Paul THIBEAULT and Marven McINTYRE.<br /> Burial will be in the church cemetery later in the spring. Arrangements were in the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - April 15, 1987
